PU
GEL belongs to the category of PU elastomers and is not a foamed product. In
other words, PU GEL is a type of PU product that only forms a gel without
foaming.
In
terms of physical properties, the compression and tensile strength of PU GEL
are not as good as those of products like TPE and SEBS. However, it has a more
transparent appearance and a softer tactile feel. Moreover, the product can be
completely hydrolyzed without causing environmental pollution, making it the
preferred material for current foot care products.
Additionally,
PU GEL naturally has inherent adhesiveness, allowing it to adhere well to
smooth surfaces such as leather and metal. This property further expands its
range of applications.
Beyond
footwear applications, it can also be used in various products including seat
cushions, pillow inserts, phone adhesive pads, children¡¯s toys, and bathroom
products.
